jaime olivier

If you're in London you have to stop by Fifteen....Each Fifteen restaurant has its own local identity and works to support its surrounding area. Once a location has been found, a charity is set up to fund and run the apprenticeship. All four restaurants pass up profits to their foundations.

Fifteen Foundation is a registered charity (number 1094536), founded in 2002, to take forward Jamie Oliver’s vision of offering young people a unique opportunity to change their lives by becoming chefs.

I heart Jamie--I swear it's the accent. hahaah..London is not known as a foodie place.

The Razor

In La Jolla, CA...I wanna live here----someday...

swimwear is lovely....and the jumpsuits are cute too!

a bathing ape benz 300 SL

No worries, this auto overhaul is no sick joke. Japan based designer "Nigo" of A Bathing Ape (Bape) routinely asserts his brand of camouflage treatments to high-end and luxury products. The latest victim/subject is this Mercedes Benz 300 SL classic car. More than just a paint job, the car has been thoroughly mechanically upgraded by Mercedes in-house tuner AMG. Notice the wheels are new, and inside, the car has a new engine among a list of other goodies. Will this special one-off car be sold? Possibly? Price will be extravagant.

I dont drink

but how cool would this be in your house...maybe I could put shoes on it...

Leica --my luv...

yummy...I still haven't gotten a Leica yet--one day soon. I can only dream!

Dash Range Rover

Rap mogul Damon Dash's luxury timepiece and jewelry brand Tiret New York has turned its hand to automotive design with its latest creation, the Tiret Sport Coupe. Just unveiled at watch expo Baselworld in Switzerland, the luxurious 2-door SUV is based on the Range Rover Sport and features real diamond accents derived from Tiret's opulent oversized, bejeweled timepieces by designer Daniel Lazar.

Available by special order at an undisclosed but undoubtedly astronomical price, the car is available with custom watch dial displays derived from Tiret's diamond timepieces, as well as an elegant central clock. A wide variety of color combinations including two-tone schemes is available inside and out in addition to Nappa leather seating and fine wood trim. Exterior modifications include wider flared arches, LED lighting, 22-inch LSE alloy wheels and a full panoramic glass sunroof.

Mondrian bentley vending machine

Luxury hotels pride themselves on catering to the whims of their guests but at the Mondrian South Beach you don't need to call down to the front desk, you can visit the lobby vending machine. The machine, which is called a Semi-Automatic offers everything from gift shop staples like a T-shirt or a toothbrush to really outlandish stuff like a Bentley Arnage. The collection of more than 60 items is priced between $10 and $1.2 million and includes clothing, cars, handcuffs, events and even property.

Customers can view images, swipe a credit card and then get the item from the machine. If the item is too big for the machine the buyer is given a card that can be exchanged at the front desk. For the big ticket items like cars and condos the buyer has to put down a $1,500 deposit which they lose if they opt not to complete the purchase. The Associated Press reports that one of the top sellers is a T-shirt that has the word "recession" spelled as "Recess Is On" on one side.

Top Shop NYC

hmmm..so when I was in NYC last week..I considered stopping by Top Shop but since I was just in London (the real thing), decided to hit up Co-Op instead. And from what I hear--It's rather over-rated. Stick to the London shop...or the Top Shops in UK..even the ones in Indo, HK and Japan are better!

you'll never catch me...

in these...or knock -offs in general..Bad..just very bad taste.
Please ladies, If you can't afford it. just don't rock it.

free drycleaning!

As jobs are so damn hard to find these days, it’s nice to see that local businesses are doing their part to help out-of-work New Yorkers make a great first impression. Last week, we told you about PrivĂ© Salon’s interview prep package, now NPR is reporting that First Professional Cleaners on the UES wants to help too. A sign in the window reads: “If you are unemployed and need an outfit clean for an interview, we will clean it for free.” First Professional Cleaners, 345 E 72nd St between First and Second Aves (212-327-0625)

Spotify

If you haven't heard--it's all the rage in throughout Europe and I had the pleasure of meeting the founders of Spotify during my recent adventure in London and trust me--Spotify is about to blow-up in the USA.

Spotify is a new way to enjoy music. Simply download and install, before you know it you’ll be singing along to the genre, artist or song of your choice. With Spotify you are never far away from the song you want.

There are no restrictions in terms of what you can listen to or when. Forget about the hassle of waiting for files to download and fill up your hard drive before you get round to organising them. Spotify is instant, fun and simple.

Because music is social, Spotify allows you to share songs and playlists with friends, and even work together on collaborative playlists, Friday afternoon in the office might never be the same again! We’re music lovers like everyone else.

We want to connect millions of people with their favorite songs by creating a product that people love to use. We respect creativity and believe in fairly compensating artists for their work. We’ve cleared the rights to use the music you’ll listen to in Spotify.
