Bread & Butter

Some more pics from Bread & Butter...highlights of my trip...taxi's are impossible to track down...some pics from walking around, dinner on the beach with the lovely Nike folks (Mr. Chambers--always a pleasure) ...the daily drop, mr. Nico, Reebok's monster booth, jet-lagged..crazy spanish men, trying to catch some Zzzz's...took a really nasty fall and busted my knees... I'm sooo ready to go home--sick of traveling, airports, planes, blah blah blah...

Barcelona

11 hours later...I'm out in Barcelona for the Bread and Butter show...walked around the city for a minute...meat in the windows..a Burberry outlet, the most beautiful churches...and in honor of my trip..turquoise eyeliner and turquoise nails..it's love.

Travel

visited some friends in the P...but ended up spending the entire time in the hotel watching Tennis...it's captivating. I desparately want to go to Wimbledon...

Wimbledon...ZHENG

Amazing...Ms.Zheng is the first wild-card entrant to reach the women’s semifinals at Wimbledon; only one woman ranked lower has made the semifinals at any Grand Slam. 133rd-ranked Zheng Jie, who became the first Chinese player to reach the semifinals at a major tournament by upsetting 18th-seeded Nicole Vaidisova 6-2, 5-7, 6-1 will face Ms. Serena Williams..on her 25th Bday...u go girl!

Denver SoCo Music Experience

Took a short trip to Denver..never been but nonetheless a cool experience...got to interview some cool bands, take some pics and break out my new aztec-inspired dress ( And yes, I made it myself) ...

dinner with the ladies...at Tamarind, owner Avatar Walia has created a modern, sophisticated and soothing setting with a colorful mix of classic Indian textiles and artifacts. He named his Flatiron District restaurant after the sweet and sour tamarind, the fruit pod of a tall tropical tree...our meal was yummy and it was great to catch up with the ladies finally...since we had all been traveling..all around the world, Dubai, Egypt, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Paris, London, Ft. Lauderdale....between the 4 of us there were over 25+ plane rides in the past month!!! insane...and I got to show the girls my "super kawaii" hair style...I'm already bored.

Asics X Complex X David Z

On June 19th, 2008, Complex Media partnered with Asics for a co-branded event at the new David Z store in New York. The event served as a showcase for the launch of the special Asics GT-Quick shoes designed by the David Z shop. From 9pm-11pm, event-goers enjoyed complimentary Red Bull/Vodka drinks, and catered food, while enjoying the sounds of Complex's very own DJ Treats.

Burger King's $200 Burger

Burger King has launched a $200 hamburger called simply "The Burger" that features Wagyu beef, white truffles, Pata Negra ham slices, Cristal onion straws, Modena balsamic vinegar, lambs lettuce, pink Himalayan rock salt, organic white wine, and shallot-infused mayonnaise all served up on an Iranian saffron and white truffle dusted bun....drool....
